We have an almost new kitchen table. It's one of those modern, metal tables with the thick glass top. The chairs are metal too with a really comfy cushion. (The plastic is still on them so, they have no stains.) How much do you think we'll get for it if we sell it? We just bought a new house and it doesn't go with anything.

You may want to check the current prices of similar furniture on ebay but to hazard a guess probably a couple hundred bucks at best.

Put it in the paper. You'd be surprised how many people look in the paper for gently used furniture. Especially with furniture prices the way they are. Count on getting (about) a little more than 1/2 of what you paid for. In the ad mention that it's in brand new condition with the plastic still on the chairs.

How long have you had it, and what did you pay for it???

If it's no longer "in style" you'll not get much for it.

If it is still stylish...you might get half of wht it's worth.

Try taking it to the flea market, or listing in your states trader magazine. How about the free online classifieds or even in the classified section under yard sale.

What kind of company do ya'll work for? You might post an ad on the bulliten board at work. Post your pictures with the table nicely set!

Good luck to you.

This is one of those "what the market will bear" situations. You know how much you paid for it and what it is worth but, that doe's not mean others will be inclined to pay that amount. Guess it depends on how long you want to hold on for the price it is worth.

well get the worth of the table (when it was new ) minus 10% if it in good shape or 20% if it's in there some paint missing or some scratches and so on =) hope that helps

rule of thumb if your selling in garage sale, yard sale, out of your house 25 cents on the dollar. lets face it you have no return policy, no warranty..........
