i spilled dr. pepper on an unfinished wood table two days ago. Now there's a big dark spot. What do I do?

Pour dr pepper on the rest of the table.

The soda has stained the pulp/fiber in the wood and you will need to sand the spot starting with 150 grit aluminium-oxide sandpaper until it is gone. Then go over it with 220 grit sandpaper if you plan to finish it later on. It won't be easy, but you will get the best results.

Clean up your spills next time.

You can probably sand out the stain..

if you planned on staining it , stain it a color that is a little darker...
