My compost includes all the recommended green and brown house and yard scraps, yet it never heats up like the articles describe. I'm in the arid west, but try to keep it damp.

I have a regulation size block wall on the side of and in the back of my yard. The trouble is, I can still see too much of the neighbor's windows. I know there is something that pool owners use but I don't like the blue stuff. Any suggestions?

I am a 14 year old teenage girl. I am going to move into my brothers room soon, and i get to do practically whatever i want as long as its pretty lower priced and it wont look bad. I have thought over and over, but i cant think of anything to paint the walls [patterns not?] where to put everything. so if anyone could find a picture of a teen girls room that would help so so much.

i love - pinks, oranges kind of, bright colors.
I am very peppy, i have a aqua blue apple clamshell laptop. i love hollister, abercrombie, coach , i have a chanel purse [i dont know what to really say i am just stating my personality]. i love fashion, make up, and others think girls like

so if you could find pictures that would help.

I am planting a garden in a hot dry area in central florida. I would perfer that the plants be flowering and if at all possible attract butterflys (though not a requiremnt). I also need vines to grow up a chain link fence (if the plant floweres awsome if not its ok) and a shade type tree that wont get to big. These plants need to be as strong and resistant to drought and heat as possible thank you for Links!!!

I have a cast iron offest elbow under my stool that i discovered has a small crack in it. I am not excited about changing the cast iron out at this moment, but i know it is the right thing to do. Has anyone had a good experience with any of the quick-fix pipe repair kits that are out there, i;m hoping to buy some time. I think they use some kind of glue or something?

They have not been stored away very well and have an extremely foul stale cigarette smell in them. Does anybody have ANY ideas at all as to how to get that horrid smell out? I really want to look thru these, I just cant stand the smell! These are heirloom craft reference books, and I really want to save them.......HELP

Let me paint the scene for you:

Our living room, dining room, and kitchen are all in a straight line. You can see all three rooms from any of the 3 rooms because there are large doorways. Our living room is painted sage green. The accent colors are dark red, yellow, and light green. The kitchen (on the furthest end) is painted light yellow on one wall and dark red on another wall. If you are standing in the living room, you see the yellow wall. If you are standing in the kitchen, looking into the dining room, you see the red wall.

Okay...enough information; Which color should I paint the dining room? Should I go a warm color to match the other two rooms, or should I go an earthier color to mix it up. What do you think?

My Father in law is making a sand box for my son with lumber treated with Copper Azole CA-B. I have looked at websites that give information on it, but I haven't found an answer that relates directly to sand boxes. My concern is if the chemical will leach into the sand and if it is harmful to a young child that will most likely live in it with his trucks and tractors. Any help would be appreciated.

I heard this the other day and I just don't believe it. I would think it would short out the meter or the meterbase or the fuse box. Has anyone else every heard of this?
