yes . if it was not intended and you hade a water hose you could spay the area with water and it would help but you would have to be very fast to prevert it from killing anything . if you intend on killing if on purpuse try round up it is safe after 24 hours and you can replant on the siol in two days . paint thinner will poisen the soil and is very flammable

Yes, it sure will!! You might try flooding the area with water to dilute the effect.
