Yes unless you live in the ant-arctic. I have a garden center and covered is all that is necessary this late in the season.

Yes! Frost only comes straight down. Covered under a porch will be okay.

No you have to cover them with a sheet or light piece of cloth.... We have had frost here in Mi 3 times since I put my garden in but you have to cover the whole thing!!! Good Luck

If the frost is very heavy it will still freeze them. The actual frost/ice will not be on the plant, but it will still freeze.

As long as they are covered, they will be fine. Also, if it doesn't freeze for anything length of time, they will be ok.

Should be as long a it stays above 30F , (& the house should add a litte heat ). So nice you decided to plant'em twice ? ;D Glad I waited .
