It doesn't seem to affect the way the stove heats, but it looks terrible, not to mention the stove has hardly ever been used. Is there a way I can repair this myself?

The flower bed is just filled up with dirt, weeds, and pebbles. First I need to clean it out I guess but do I use the dirt that's already in there or do put soil down? If you want to know, I live in Southern Arizona where it's always dry and hot and I want to plant perennial flowers. I'm new to gardening and want to know how prepare the flower bed, what type of soil I need (if necessary) and any tips on types of flowers to plant. Thanks alot!

I planted some Scotts Premium Sun & Shade grass seed and I don't want it to be wasted because it wasn't cheap, even on sale it was expensive. We are supposed to have a cold front come through Northern Indiana where I live and I'm worried it might get damaged.

I bought a gas fire about 3 years ago, so its out of warranty. The problem is that it isn't working & having contacted the manufacturer they say that the company that made the part I need no longer exist. The only way to resolve the problem is to buy the complete workings for the fire which has also had a few modifications since I bought mine & the cost of the parts will be almost £200 plus I have then to get a Corgi gas engineer to fit it at probably the best part of another £100. Its not a simple case of chucking the whole thing out and buying a complete new fire as its one of those modern built in the wall framed stainless steel jobs set about a metre high in a purpose made appature....... surely manufacturers have a duty to supply spare parts for their products for a number of years ......or dont they???

I tried pressing the reset button, but it still doesnt work. When you turn it on, it doesnt make any noise. Water backs up in the sink. I have tried using agents (LiquidPlumr, Draino), but it is only a temporary fix. Please save me some money if you can.

I've started out with a mini timer and a few lamp modules. I really like it. I want to do some wall switches now - but can't seem to find any reasonably priced ones. Where do you get your supplies?
Thanks.

I am buying a new home and the seller/realtor had the septic tank pumped a couple of days before the septic inspection. My inspector was unable to perform his testing. The realtor said it was a mistake, that he thought he did the right thing. It is beginning to sound "fishy" to me. I am afraid they are trying to hide problems with the system. Am I over reacting? I have read articles saying this is something sellers do to trick the buyer.
