Looking to rebuild my home, and searching for discounted prices on materials in the DFW area. My home burned down, and we are rebuilding. I need everything, but I am looking for cheaper prices, not cheaper quality.

Go to google. Type in "direct buy problem". See what you find. I am very curious that a company that CLAIMS to be able to save you thousands, yet will not show you comparison PRICES before you plop down thousands of dollars to join? What if their prices are NOT lower or you can buy cheaper somewhere else, shouldn't you get your money back? Good luck if you can. I doubt it though. I think they claim to have lower prices because of 'buying volume', etc., but I doubt they have more buyers than any other outlet like a lowes or home depot. I don't have personal experience with this company, but I have yet to hear one single person claim how happy they were and how much they saved. My opinion: buyer beware.

I am not a member but have a friend who is. First of all, last I heard, it costs $4000 to sign up. But that's for life. If you go to a meeting about it, you must be prepared to make your decision that day. If you go and do not sign up that day, you can't sign up again for years. I don't know how many but you basically need to know ahead of time. They basically work with Retailers to allow you to buy products at the wholesale price. Usually it's about a 50% savings. The products are the same brands that you're going to find at retail stores, so the quality is the same. They have a big show room that you can go to and look at everything, plus the internet, and they have books and books of things to look at. The closest show room to me is an hour away, so it's not as convenient as running to home depot. We're getting ready to do a big addition on our home and are seriously considering becoming members for the things like cabinets, counter tops, windows, window coverings, floor coverings, furniture, etc. This friend of mine said if he were building a house he would not even consider doing it with out direct buy. Check out their website or infomercial, but it would be best if you could find someone you know that is a member so you could check out their catalog. They have some really nice stuff. I'd say it's definitely worth looking into. So sorry to hear about your house. Good Luck!

Friendship, no that's no longer risky....my contacts in basic terms this week helped me turn my head faraway from the darkness and in the direction of the gentle....it is not delusional in any respect, yet a certainty.
