Hello,

(ANS) This very much depends upon where the property is located to start with. Secondly, I would advise you to contact either the local town council or local authorities who may well have information about the age of buildings in your specific area.

Failing that the other avenues you might wan to research or explore are: Building society or who ever holds the title deeds for your property as this will give specific information about past owners or functional use of the building.

Or another might be local parish or church records for the area too see if your property is mentioned historically.

**OK! vaulted cellers can be extremely old, going back many hundreds of years but it very much depends on the kind of property you have?

**vaulted cellers were & are often associated with building like monistery's, castles, churches, defensive or fortified houses, etc.
