do we have to remove the stones first, and then lay down the topsoil, or can we just buy topsoil to cover the stones and then plant the grass? Thanks!

It was on one of those infomericals - it was 19.95 - covers 50 sq.ft. and it showed it growing on concrete (grass seed). Name of the product or link would be great! Thanks!

we just finished remodeling a house and we're moving in this weekend, i would like to start landscaping next week and was wondering about sun requirements of trees.

i like flowering cherry trees, bradford pear trees, weeping cherry trees, ect. but they require full sun.

how much sun is considered full sun?
the front of the house gets sun from sunrise to about 2:30 or 3:00, is this enough to be full sun?

I have an easel, one side is a black chalk board, the other is a dry-wipe white board.
The surface of the white board no longer cleans well and the pens stain the surface. It was second hand, but we have made sure that we have used proper dry wipe pens only.
Many thanks.

I never saw one of these types of fans until I
saw them in movies in the last few years..
The house I grew up in had a ceiling fan
installed directly into the ceiling instead
of hanging from the ceiling. It was 60" in diameter. We would run it in one direction in the summer and
the fan blew air through the house and out the
windows. Or instead, turn the fan off
when it got cool outside, then make
the fan pull air into the house from the
outside. When not in use, the fan has panels
that close.

I'm a fan freak, and I was mad because they
got central air. I liked the sound of the fan.

We're thinking of ordering carpet from Empire. They promise the lowest prices and next-day delivery. Has anyone had any experience with them?

Every summer there are maggots coming out of no where in my back yard.. I was just outside and noticed that now the snows gone there are alot of flies buzzing around my grass. So I was wondering are the flies dropping little, soon-to-be, maggots in my back yard this time of year?

im not sure if my fridge is working or not.

on sunday the light on it was fine and the fridge was working. i opened the door to get the butter out and closed it. when i went to put the butter back i noticed the light didnt come on in the fridge.

i thought the fuse had gone and my husband changed it. the light still didnt come on. we unplugged it and plugged it in again and still nothing.

then out of the blue when i went to go in the fridge again the light came on.

next day the light was off and since then hasnt come on again. everything in the fridge is still cold so we think it is still working and maybe just the bulb has gone.but havent actually heard the fridge make any noise.

for few days now my children have had diarrea and have gone off food. they are also seeming to be tired and clumsy. i think this might be the flu.

do you think its anything to do with the fridge? does it sound like the fridge is not working and would you know if gas was leaking from it?

I thought solid copper was copper all the way through, like copper piping, but when I scratch the firepit, there's metal underneath. Does that mean the company I bought this from scammed me, albeit unintentionally.

I know, how stupid. I guess the ants just startled me. I left a piece of pizza in it yesterday and opened it this morning and there were hundreds of the little tiny ants all inside. I was carefull, trying to only spray on the bottom of the microwave. But, now I realize how stupid that was. Any suggestions on how to steralize or should I just get a new one. It is built in with the cabinets over the oven. (they are sort of expensive).
