I live in Mississippi and it's prime time to plant. Has anyone ever transplanted trees from adult trees before? What is the growth time?

I am looking for a site that allows you to input your homes dimensions and colors, then helps to plot a landscape for your home.

Hi I was looking at buying this bed- http://www.thewhitecompany.com/department2.aspx?DepGrpCode=FUR&DepCode=PRFS
from the white company but as its £600 I won't have as much to spend on my new living room, does anyone know where I can find a cheaper, similar version in double?
Thanks!

I was watering my potted lemon tree the other day and noticed after the water was absorbed there was a little movement in the dirt. After looking closer I saw a bunch of little what looked like centipedes of some type scurrying around. This plant is indoors so they couldn't have come from outside. Are these types of bugs usual for this tree? Does anyone know what they are? They seem to only surface after watering the plant.

I used the smallest drill piece to carefully make a hole for the plug/screw... trying to fix up a bracket, but the wall under the stairs got really sandy immediately the drill piece went in, and the holes just got really big.

Now I've got 3 big and unsightly (1 pence sized) deep holes in the wall.

Is there an easy fix (product) to fill these holes with something ?

The rest of under the stairs is painted in white and I've covered up the holes from mum with boxes, so she won't see what a newb I've been. Need to make holes/walls look ok again.

We're planning a bathroom remodel and wondering how much we should be at home for it. Guessing it will take at least a month. Someone "can" work from home most days, but we dont really want too. Although does it make a big difference in workers showing up, asking questions, etc?

I recently purchased a jasmine plant for a friend of mine. Before I gave it to her I noticed some little white/beige colored pod like things on the soil. The are perfectly round and seem moist inside. I gathered them and am saving them in hopes that they are seeds and that I may be able to plant them. The jasmine is the climbing one with small white flowers. Are what I gathered seeds?

I tried adding a humidifier to the duct attached to the furnace. I cut the hole too large and broke the humidifier. I've given up and just want to patch the hole. What's the best approach? The hole is approximately 9" x 9".

I have a lot of fence that I would like to cover. I've seen how cherry tomatoe and strawberry babylon bags do it but I can't have my whole fence with nothing but cherry tomatoes and strawberries so can anyone tell anymore vegetables and flowers that are viney? I already have tomatoes, strawberries, cucumbers, peppers, squash, melons, and beans on my list. For the flowers please tell me how often will I have to replant them.

I live in a old building, in the city. My apartment is an old attic and I keep it very very clean. Every now and then I will find a dead mouse. There have been three since I moved in (in over a year). I know this is not a lot for my type of building and city life, but it still bothers me. I can't use poisons, glue traps, or snap traps becuase I have two cats and a chihuahua that will get hurt by any of them. I don't know how the mice are dying, maybe my cats are killing them but there is never any blood or bite marks, so if they are killing the mice it's by playing with them - not hunting. My cats are indoor only, the mice are not being brought in from outside. I have already tried to block holes with steel wool, but my playful kittes thought they were toys as yanked those out as well. I can never find out exactly where the mice are coming from but with this being an old attic my apartment has lots of funky corners and spaces. How can I keep mice out without harming my pets?

I purchased a tube feeder for the goldfinches and a tray feeder for the finches and sparrows, but I feel like I'm throwing nature out of whack by skewing the odds and providing a regular source of good seed. Their behavior isn't as natural as when they forage on their own and I worry about the spread of disease.

I have a strip of lawn in the front of my house that I want to turn into a little flower garden. How do I go about it, because all that is there now is grass? Do I just dig up all the grass chunks along with the dirt? Is there anything to do to stop the grass from growing back? Any help would be appreciated.

I let my teenage daughters and their friends sign their names and draw all over their walls with Sharpies..(stupid hey?) I used two coats of primer (expensive kind) then 5 coats of paint. The marker bled right through. I heard putting Laquer over the marker may work. Has anyone tried that?? and if so, what kind? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

We're having a electrician come in and running some wires for us for a new outlet. Hes gonna pull power from an existing outlet (not used) which is about 3ft away on an adjacent wall (L shaped corner). We're in an apartment and theres no attic or basement so my question is how will he get the wire across that corner? Im not attempting this myself since I dont wanna electricute myself or anything just want to get a heads up on what this guy is gonna do and if hes doing it right.
