I tumbled dried my pullover and nowt seems to have gone wrang.

They can go bobbly, i.e. get little balls of fabric all over them.

wrang lol u must be scottish,u must of tumble dried it at quite a low temp otherwise it comes out looking like it would fit a doll

Usually stuff you tumble dry over time that says "dont tumble dry" either will loose its fabric quality or shrink a little. no biggie - i do it all the time

Over time, polyester breaks down with heat and won't retain its shape.

Because of the static electricity that would be generated by the heat and friction.

That would be shocking !

Well probably because it's plastic and might melt, or scorch if the dryer is too hot.

it mite shrink. i do it all the time but as im on a diet its great cuz as i shrink my clothes shrink with me...lol

they ball up inside and are ikkky
also, some dryer heats can melt it

normally it would go into a thousand tiny creases that won't come out.
