I want to make a foresty area in my back yard, but I don't know what trees to plant and how to arrange them. I would like a software program that allows you to arrange plants to see how they would look. Does anything like that exist?

I live in a duplex, and i went into the basement for the first time last nite. There was one water tank( the landlord pays the water NOT the gas) and each tenant has a gas tank or hot water tank( not sure which). I live on the secodn floor, and the tank labeled second floor had an unlit pilot. The tank labeled forst floor has a lit pilot, but I never had a problem with not having hot water or heat or cooking gas. My concern is why do I have hot water and heat and my pilot is not lit? I pay a gas bill every month. I live by myself and my bill is on average 60 dollars. This month it is 200 dollars, and last month it was 129 dollars. Am I paying the tenant on the first floor's bill too? Or is there a way that i could be paying just to heat her water, and she is paying her own heating and cooking gas? I am very confused about this, and the gas company could not help me. So please help.

I have two matching nightstands, which are completely solid wood. I have a dresser from a different set, which I think is mostly solid wood, and this dresser used to have a super shiny, almost glassy feeling top, and the whole thing was much darker than the nightstands. A few years ago, all pieces were painted black.

If I strip the paint off these pieces and restain them, can I get them all to look like they're from the same set?

Ever since they replaced that floating black ball thing in the tank, it smells like sewer and the water is dirty looking. And it clogs a lot more often now.

I just posted earlier today about my aircon not working and now suffering leaks in my garage. I stated earlier that the leak was coming from my furnace, I have to restate that and say that its ( the leak ) coming from underneath my water heater. Would that still change the fact that the drippings underneath my water heater have anything to do with my airconditon not working?? Or is that just pure conicidence that two different problems happened at d same day.

I’m trying to analyze the savings our company would receive if they drop the towel service which is part of an agreement for uniforms, mats and towels. They say the towel is replaced after 11 uses. I know for a fact that I get more than 11 uses out of a mid-weight bath towel. On average, how many washes do you think this towel will withstand before needing to be replaced.

Also, what do you think the cost of this towel would be from a linen supply firm?

Thanks for taking the time to help with this. I need to be as realistic as possible for my examples to management.

So I posted a question earlier about my furnace, and it having to do with my airconditioning not cooling.

My follow up question is, I have my airconditon on off ( since its not cooling ) and I turned off my furnace and gas line ( just incase ). Will the water stop leaking? Its still dripping. The A/C guy wont be here till wednesday, the earliest they can come to check out my AC unit. The guy who is going to check on my Furnace hasnt called me back. So yea, my question is will the water stop dripping eventually?

My townhouse is 10 yrs old & I've noticed vertical cracks running up the middle of walls and also where they meet the ceiling. It also seems that the only walls affected are load-bearing walls; that is, walls that border my neighbors, and also horizontal beams.

I've tried to cover the cracks by using a special "spackle" that's designed not to separate. Although it seemd to work on minor cracks, the cracks reappeared on the bigger cracks that I gouged out (which may have been my mistake).

So I guess Part 2 of the question is am I correct to use the special "spackle", and if so, am I using it the wrong way?

Thanks,

Steve C
