I have a cactus and have so far resisted the urge to plant it in my garden. If I was to put it in my garden now (british winter), would it live?

Help! I am trying to get complete answer on what would be the best flowers and green plants to plant in partial to full shade that are midsize in height and (Here is the hard part) will do well under pine trees. (Something about the soil around them) I live in WV, so if annuals (which I prefer) they would have to be for my grow zone. Please help, I have searched and quized local gardeners, but I get different answers every single time.

I had a leak in my garage ceiling and appears there was a little damage in it. The original leak has been fixed, but it appears the ceiling has a small hole in it. I believe it is a wallboard ceiling with rectangular shapes and I like to know how to patch it up.

I have 2 bathrooms, the toilet in the master bath backed up one day and wouldn't plunged away. it drained after a long time, but I started using the second bathroom toilet until help came. shortly there after the second toilet backed up too. roto-rooter came and pumped the septic. It worked for a while, but the first toilet still drained slow. Now the second one is backed up. Can I fix this without calling out another plumber?
draining in the shower and bath also have slowed

Was thinking of this one...http://www.amazon.co.uk/Paint-Your-Wake-Alarm-Clock/dp/B00021Y0JE/sr=1-19/qid=1168527917/ref=sr_1_19/202-1076576-7011037?ie=UTF8&s=kids, however not quite sure if the paint on it, will adventually rub off, and often when kids paint things like this, it looks undecorative and a mess.

Ok, so everytime I burn candles, I'm left with all the wax around the candle and a "hole" in the middle where the wick was. Any ideas how I can salvage that extra wax and and ideas how I can burn the whole candle at once. Why does this happen?

I know this is totally gross, hence I'm asking for help LOL

In the last month we have managed to kill one with Decon and trapped and released one (FAR away LOL) and one was into the Decon just last night. We live in the historical district of our city and have a fully updated home, however it was built in 1910 so I'm sure the basement is where the problem is starting...what else can we do?
