Its a shaped serrissa....tree of a thousand stars. How do I begin and what on earth can I feed it. Where shall I put it? Its about 10 years old and 12 inches high.

It needs a lot of light, but no draughts, no cold areas and constant similar temperature. Make sure to water it regularly but do not overdo it. A little often is the best bet. Make sure the water is not too cold. Give it plenty of feed (you can buy special bonsai feed in plant shops). The biggest thing is always be constant with your treatment to it, never devitate or change your watering habits - it hates change. good luck.

The best and easiest way is to keep your bonsia out of drafts and keep in a naturally lit room and once a day put the whole tree and pot in a bucket of lukewarm water and wait till the air bubbles disperse, the soil that it is in must stay moist at all times otherwise the leaves will drop,dont repot it as they are meant to stay in a small pot.

Go www.bhc.com they have a section all about the garden and house plants.You should find an answer there.Another site is www.hgtv.com they also have a section or try www.jerrybaker.com.He has an an answer about every kind of plant and he uses stuff you have right in your home.
