My husband did his own laundry. (Uh oh) And I think he put permanent wrinkles in his 100% polyester work shirts. Maybe he had the dryer up too high I honestly don't know. I've rewashed and dried twice and even an iron and starch won't get them out! Anyone done this before? Would the dry cleaners be able to get them out or do I need to order him new shirts?

First I caught 3 and then they seem to have worked out how to take the bait (peanut butter) without setting it off. On one occasion they even moved the trap and hid it away! Are mice itelligent?

When it did catch them death seems to have been instant

Could I PLEASE borrow someone to go into my attic and bring down my Christmas decorations? My husband has found every excuse under the sun not to do it and I am unable to go up the stairs myself. I have 15 large totes of decorations that I usually start putting up the day after Thanksgiving, and complete this weekend, by the time I finish decorating Christmas will be over.

I have one lady's wedsite that I visit for little tips like "When gathering clutter from one room, place everything in a laundry basket that doesn't belong in that room until you are ready to leave that room...."

I'd like to find more sites like that.. Know of any?

Okay. Last year, around this time we had this horrible smell in our bathroom. At first we thought it was just that our septic tank was getting full so we had it pumped. That didn't help. So my father replaced a seal around the toilet. That didn't help either. He eventually ended up replacing the entire toilet. The smell stayed and gradually went away towards the end of March. We forgot about it, until it returned last week. It smells horrible and exactly like it did last year. It's kind of hard to determine where it is coming from bt it seems like this certain part of the wall. Before last fall, we had the back of our house sided and we figured that the smell was coming from a dead animal that had been sided into the wall. However, it was gone all summer and then recently returned. We live in a log cabin so it's going to be a real difficult to take out the wall. Is there any way for us to pinpoint the source of the smell, a suggestion as to what is might be and how to get rid of it?

We just moved into a house where they liked pink!! The frames for the doors, the ceiling beams, the baseboards, the shutters (inside) and the doors themselves are pink. How do I remove this to make them the natural wood color again?
Mind you I have NO home improvement knowledge what-so-ever. But, I am a quick learner and have plenty of time to do this.
Thanks so much in advance.....

We have three cats who always drink the water out of the Christmas tree water container. I was told of a product called StaFresh which makes your tree last longer, but I was wondering if it is OK to drink. Does anyone know the ingredients of this product StaFresh

I am looking for a couple of burners for my top stove made by Caloric around 1960. Caloric Model DRS4. This burner fits on top of an arm like round circle around 2-3 inches wide that goes to the gas supply line? I tried the parts departments and some said they found a part number but that it has been discontinued. Any help would be appreciated.
