I inherited a bunch of great stuff from my mother-in-law but so much of it is stained. Would love to be able to use it but it really needs a touch up first. Any ideas? Have tried just washing it but that's not enough.

I want to paint my bedroom windows to block out all light. The curtains I made still allow light around the edges. I want to make it completely dark in my bedroom, even in the middle of the day (my husband sleeps during the day). What kind of paint and what color would do the job? I can't use shutters, as condensation will build up, and mold will start to grow on the window sashes. I really need to find out if there's a paint I can use that won't peel, blister or crack from being exposed to the sun (window faces east). Thank you for any help you can give. <*)))><

My washing machine cleans the clothes just fine, but the spin cycle does not appear to be fully emptying. After it spins, as the drum comes to a stop, I hear a sloshing sound of water. The clothes are not as dry as the used to be either, and there is an odor in the machine, though not as bad of a smell as it seems many people have had after reading many posts. Has anyone had this problem?

The plant is 2years old composed of three stalks. Over the past 3 or 4 weeks, it has progressed with the following: leaves turn yellow then dried & brown. (I trim but more die) small ammt. of black spotty mold on stalks. new growth stunted. leaf stem truning yellow/brown & mushy. top of stalks look pasty & is begining to get soft. pulled bark from this area & noticed clusters of white mold looking stuff.
I live in a aired region, spry leaves with water & water near stalk base when 1st few inches of soil is dry. Nothing environmentally has changed. Any suggestions of possible causes & solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

I want to use them in my work kitchen as functional, not decorative tea towels. I would like the days monday to friday printed or embroidered clearly, one day on each towel. I would like to find a retailer that sells these, I am based in the UK.

Many thanks.

For example, I turn off the heater overnight. However, this morning it was 49 degrees. I keep the temp during the day at 68, so turning on the heater this morning, did that cost more than leaving it on overnight? (same thing about A/C... I wait until it gets unbearable about 78 degrees and THEN turn the A/C on. It never gets below 75 in the Summer...). So... basically, does it have to work harder if the temps are at such extreme highs/lows? I am trying to save some money if I can :) Thanks
