I want to use them in my work kitchen as functional, not decorative tea towels. I would like the days monday to friday printed or embroidered clearly, one day on each towel. I would like to find a retailer that sells these, I am based in the UK.

Many thanks.

I need them each to have a single day, monday to friday on them and them to be clearly printed or embroidered. I am based in the UK. They need to be functional not decorative.

The reason that I only need them Monday to Friday is that they are for my work kitchen and we are only at work Monday to Friday. At the momnet the department uses very un-eco friendly paper towels to dry up as no one is sure when the tea towel was last washed. If the tea towel is rotated and washed and people can clearly see it is new that day then they would use it. The problem with colour codes is that it would overcomplicate things, I would have to make up charts or inform everyone of the new codes. When trying to implement a new system, simplicity is key.

Hi Gemma, i'm not quite sure but i have another idea.....if you know anyone with a decent sewing machine.......they have certain settings on them to sew a word of your choice or it cn be done letter by letter so basically they can sew the days of the week u want onto the towels large or small. Cheaper than buying them as well so you could use ur old ones. Hope this helps.

Hmmm hu would actually no the answer to tht you could jst ryt the days on in permanent marker i spose or embroider them yourself. They probably would be sold in a charity shop or something if you really wanted to buy them.
(Are the people at your work so dum they wont understand colour codes)

Why not get plain dishtowels and a permanent fabric pen and write the days on yourself, probably the easiest option. You can find the pens in hobby shops and even Tesco sells packs of 4.

Can you just not colour code them instead?

Monday - white
Tuesday - Blue
Wednesday - Red

etc etc
