It sounds like your refrigerator is not cooling properly and the air is staying too humid. Have an appliance guy come check it out--the ventilation and cooling

Aside from the other answers..(low temp high humidity), you might have bacteria in the fan and lining areas (they harbor that kind of stuff you know). You might want to look for a crack or something in the fridge (like a broken seal or a busted spot in the white hard plastic shell on the inside of the fridge).

Turn your thermo down.

fungi like warm moist areas, fridges are meant to keep things cold and dry air.

maybe you have split the door seal.
