I would like to be able to set each thermostat and have both independent. I realize cutting the 2nd one inline to the exisiting and running the original in fan only will work, but I don't want this setup.

Cycle repair kit does not work; it just slips off. The "plastic" of the bag is "GREASY/OILY" a bit like a pond liner? Advice on which glue to buy please. 9 year old wants it working again! Thanks.

My daughters school had a huge oak tree that was knocked down from Hurricane Katrina. The children used to gather around the tree for snacks and reading books.

They had built a nice deck around the tree and the deck was damaged but not that bad. They are going to replace the deck and plant a new tree. This will cost over $1000.00
So, we are tying to come up with new ideas to raise money.

Anyone?

This hasn't happened in previous autumns, but this autumn over the last few weeks hundreds of them have randomly appeared in my lawn & plant border. It's only a small garden 20x20m.
Will they go when the drier weather comes or do I need to spray fungicide to stop them taking over?

I moved into my house a year ago. There is an exterior pole lamp mounted in the yard near some stone stairs. Regular incandescent bulbs burn out after only about 10 days (lit for only about 1-2 hours/day). I put in a 5-year low-energy flourescent bulb, which lasted 2-3 months.

What can cause an electrical light to burn out bulbs so quickly? What should I do to repair it?

When I moved into my apartment, the "garden" area outside my door was nothing but a spot of dirt with lint all over it. I decided to plant a chinese fan palm and a few colorful flowers in that area to make this place seem more like a home. I expected this palm to grow upward, but it appears to only be growing outward. One branch will soon be protruding into my walk-space. How can I trim this thing back without killing it or opening it up for disease? Bear in mind that it's November in the South. The weather is in constant flux. Any suggestions?

My aunt gave me a plant and called it a Leopard Plant. I was just wondering how to care for this plant. How much light? How much water? etc. etc. etc.

Can I just put it in the washing machine on cold?

My boyfriend is flying from Europe to the U.S. tomorrow and there's a abbrasion (wear) mark (about 2 inches wide) on his leather coat from carrying a heavy backpack. This abbrasion has made the leather in this area lighter brown than the rest of the coat. I don't have one of those leather repair kits you see on TV. Has anyone ever tried using shoe polish on a leather coat? Or where in the states can you buy a leather repair kit. Please specify the store names.

And one more question. I have a white leather jacket with a blue pen mark. I've tried "Quick n Brite" and stain remover for pens. It doesn't come out. Any suggestions? If you scrub too hard you damage the leather.
