Robert W's answer is most likely. The pressure switch is located high on the interior of the machine. When water enters the machine, air is forced along which closes the pressure switch. This is necessary to determine how much water must enter the machine. It is possible for the washing machine to empty the water at the end of the cycle but for the switch to remain pressurised,i.e. it believes water is still present. You will not be able to have any water enter the machine for the next wash as a result. Try to locate the switch, it should have a plastic tube going to it, be located high up on the inside panel. If you can loocate the switch, remove the plastic pipe to it. You should also hear the switch click when the pipe is removed. Reconnect the pipe. This is only a temporary measure to get you through the next cycle, the problem will keep happening until the cylinder from which the pipe is connected is cleaned out. It is usually a build up of soapy deposits. There should be no need to replace any part.

either the pump is not working, or the screen that filters sand and silt has gotten clogged.I am assuming you checked to make sure that the water faucet has not gotten turned off. The filter is located on the end of your hoses, turn your water off, using a wrench, carefully turn off the hose from the machine and take a toothbrush or small brush to the filter and clean it. then replace hose and turn water back on. I'm guessing this stopped all at once, though. If that's the case, it's probably the pump and you'll need to change that out.Unless you are fairly good with machines and tools, you'll want to get someone else to do that for you. Good luck

There are two hoses in the back that come from your water source. At the end of these hoses is a screen to filter out dirt, etc. Make sure you turn off your water source and then remove these hoses entirely. Flush out with water to remove any buildup on the screens and reattach to machine. Turn on water source.

If this doesnt help with the water flow, your intake pump may need some work.

If this is a cold water only washing machine it sounds like the water inlet solenoid isnt energising. In simple terms, it is an electrical 'switch' that turns the inlet water on and off. This solenoid could be the problem. If its a hot and cold fill, you could have a programmer fault. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

It sounds as if, logically, it thinks that the machine is already full of water. In my machine this is sensed through a tube (with a pressure switch at the end) which gets blocked with washing water gunk and needs cleaned about once per year.

I hope this helps.

check if you have water where the rubber hose enters the machine.this hose is located at the rear.slowly loosen this hose it should be only hand tight but you may require a pliers.it there is water the inlet solenoid is not working or the solenoid filter is blocked.turn off the water supply, remove the hose and clean the filter.

It sounds like the water pump is bad. Check the warranty on the machine if it's less then ten years old, get it fixed. You will, more then likely, have to pay for labor but you shouldn't have to replace it.

this is something you can check your self,,, it can only be one of 3 things,,, so ill lead you through how to check them,,,,,first need to turn both water valves off and disconnect pipes from off the back of washer, put both in a bucket and turn on slightly,, if no water look up in the hose and see if there is a screen in the pipe, some have them in the pipes as well as the machine, but if water comes out , than proceed ,,,look up in holes where pipes hook up on washer,,,, there is a screen in both sides, if they are clean ,,,than you need to replace the completed valve assembly ,,,but if it is clogged up with dirt ,use a thin knife and pick the screen out and wash it off and put it back,,, if you have well water than more than likely the screen is clogged,,,,good luck,,

Do you have pipes that bring the water in the machine? Try twisting them on?
