Cycle repair kit does not work; it just slips off. The "plastic" of the bag is "GREASY/OILY" a bit like a pond liner? Advice on which glue to buy please. 9 year old wants it working again! Thanks.

If it's a small hole get some loctite 416 at the hardware store. Put a small bit around the hole and put on a rubber patch without any wrinkles. This is a fast drying superglue but to make it good let it set a few hours the more glue the longer it has to set. I fixed a waterbed with it without a patch, good stuff

Any good aquatic garden centre will sell pond liner repair kits. If they dont include a patch, do a quick search online and get a company to send you out a sample.
