I have marked the computer print text on an important document with a black sketch pen by mistake, and now I want to remove the ink part only and not damaging the paper or the print.

My daughter has mice/squirrels in her apartment walls.
Someone told her to use fox lure, but I never heard of this.
Any suggestions or opinions on the use of fox lure?

The vacuum cleaner is 15 years old and when I asked in local shops they said that it was too old. The filters are 10 x 9 cm. Is it possible to get third party replacements or are there any current Electrolux models with filters the same size?

I've always used a conventional chipper/shredder to mulch leaves. Mine broke and I'm going to replace it. The new leaf vacuums (the big rolling monsters that Sears sells for $500+) sound good. How well do they work with a LOT of leaves. We have 80 year old trees and get buried.

I found some bugs in the soil so I was told to let the soil dry up, remove any leaves and they would die, well now my ficus is dead! The branches are very dry and snap right off, with no leaves. The bottom of the plant is still trying to grow. The leaves that are on the plant are very soft and rubbery. What can I do to save my plant?

Any trim guys out there ever had to do this? I have a baluster system on a roof with a 12/12 slope. The 12 inch square columns are already installed ( they stick up about three feet) but I'm trying to put the 1 X6 base (and base cap) around the bottom of the posts. I cut the "front" portion of the base and put the 45 degree miters on each end. I ripped the "side" pieces (that run up the roof) to the new height (since there at a 45 degree angle they had to be cut down so as to align with the top of the "front" piece of base). Here's where I'm having trouble. Whatever height I make the side (sloped) pieces of base I either line up with the "inner" edge of the front base and am missing the "outer" edge of the front base or the opposite if I make the height align with the "outer"edge of the front base. I can fiddle with this and maybe notch it to hob nob it, but then I still have a mess when it comes to the base cap. I can't seem to get it right. I have a compound slide saw.
