If you are interested in buying furniture than you should first look at the wood. You seem to be from India so if you go for CPT wood,it is best wood in India,it is expensive but it has certain charm which other kind of wood lack. There is one more teak available which comes from southern and western part of Africa,it is cheaper by more than half. Now the important thing if you go and buy stuff which is polished in darker shades it will be very difficult for you to find out the wood which has been used in it.....CPT will have more, bigger and darker water threads running thru the wood whereas any other teak will have very less prominent water threads,so make sure that you ask this question to sales person....I m an interior designer based in new delhi.
