My dryer stopped drying a few days ago. I know that 2 of the thermostats are good...or atleast they show good continuity, and that small fuse is good also, but there is another thing under the thermostat to the left, it shows good continuity at first and then goes up to 2.66k ohms I think is what it was, and the heating element showed 10 ohms I think.... There is a possibility that a switch or something could cause that also right? If there is any advice anyone could give me I would greatly appreciate it.

I go to a small church, and our nursery is quite out of date. Right now the walls are plain white, and I'd like to paint them either a solid color or with a mural on one wall. Any suggestions on what to paint, and other ways to renovate the entire space would be greatly appreciated.

I have a vertical, wall gas heater, I turned off the pilot for the summer. As the weather turned colder, I re lit the pilot. However when I turn up the heater using a honeywell mechanical thermostat, nothing happens. I have confirmed multiple times that my pilot light has remained lit. Still no heat.

I have a bunch of old lotions/body wash/shampoos/conditioners cluttering up my bathroom cabinets. I want to recycle the bottles, but what do I do with the contents?
Is there one way that's less harmful to the environment than any other? I don't like to be wasteful, but the products are past their point of use.
Thanks for any answers! Have a great night!

just bought a new furnace to put in our garage but we don't have natural gas and we want to run lp gas on it. conversion kits are too expensive. is there any other way to DIY so we don't have to spend so much on it? can we just change the orifices and the valve or do we have to buy a conversion kit?

a climber that is not attractive to possums and has beautiful flowers. At the moment I have a climbling bush rose and it has never had the opportunity to grow to it's full potential or even get any flowers as the possums just love to eat it. I tried everything to get rid of them, the possums, but nothing worked and I would never shoot them or poison them. So my solution now is to pull it out and put in a climber that they won't eat.

Just repainted my ensuite bathroom and all the trim (towel rack, countertops, mirror frame, light switches, electricity outlet, air vent, fan, floor tiles, etc.) are all nice and white ... except for the toilet roll holder, which is a silver chrome colour.

It really stands out and looks ugly, and I'd like to have it match the rest of the room. Removing it isn't an option, as it's pretty much cemented into the wall, so I would like to paint over the chrome and make it white, like everything else, but I'm not sure what the best way to do so is. What kind of paint should I use? Do I need a primer? Should I sand down the toilet roll holder first?

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks!

My son washed his jeans and put them in the dryer with a red ink ball point pen. The pen exploded in the dryer and the inside is now stained with red ink. I don't want to wash anything else until I can get the dryer clean in case it spoils other clothes. I've tried a wet rag and a Mr Clean magic eraser. Any other ideas? I'm afraid to use something abrasive in case in ruins the dryer.
Thank you.
