How do I remove mild-strong odors from cardboard (that's painted) without having to wet it?

will air-drying it work, or placing the cardboard in an air-conditioned room?

If it is a paint odor, it will diminish over a fairly short period of time, just like if you painted the walls in your home. If the odor is something else, it is hard to tell without more information.

sprinkle baking soda on it and allow to stand awhile and then just wipe right off.
