You must use the rated conversion kit for your furnace or the LP will not burn properly. The flame will light and burn but carbon will deposit on the heat exchangers and they will be destroyed within three days. Conversion kits are not difficult to install. After the furnace is converted, then the gas pressure has to be adjusted on the incoming inlet side of the gas furnace valve. You will regret it if you try to use the furnace without converting it.

The conversion kit is the orifices, get it. You might ask the people you bought the furnace from, they may change it over for you. It doesn't hurt to ask.

You have to change the jets in order to convert from natural gas to LP. Hubby did ours but he has experience in this area. However, you don't want to try it yourself. if you don't know what you are doing....too dangerous.
Call the company that you will be getting your gas from and see if they will do it for you..Some will do it, just as a courtesy of being their customer...Good luck

You need to use the conversion kit and you need to get a professional to do it. In fact, real conversion kits they only sell to the profesionals who are certified to do it. There is a reason for that. Messing with gas is DANGEROUS. Especially if you don't know what you are doing.

when your house burns down or blows up fron you fiddling with a bomb that you dont understand you will wish that you would have called the gas company to convert the applience to begin with.
most gas companies will convert appliences at a low cost, or free, because they are interested in selling you gas. democrats have had dead people voting for them for years, but you cannot buy gas if you are dead.
