They get everywhere no matter what. They are all over my school, they love to get in the top corners in the ceilings, I hate them. Plus when you smush them they smell horribly.

There's another question about lady bugs that I just answered, might want to see if you can find it.

When I was a teenager, an exterminator came out for our yellow jacket problem and said our "lady bugs" were not actually lady bugs, they were a hybrid form of Japanese beetle. If yours are an orange-ish red color and not bright red, they are probably the same little pests.

We got this bag that attracted and trapped them. Spectracide has one called Bag-a-Bug. It says it's for Japanese beetles on the front of the box, but it also works for lady bugs and similar bugs. It will keep them from coming in the house because it attracts them before they try to come in. The ones in our house also left after a week or so, went to the bag we guessed!

Here's how I got rid of them. You will notice on a nice day that all of a sudden they appear all over the windows inside your home. This is because they are living in the window tracks. If you have the kind of windows that fold in for cleaning here's what you do. Fold in your windows to expose as much track as possible. Take a can of bug spray like Raid and spray it in the tracks. Shoot it in all the little openings you can find. Then say Bye-Bye

Actually, some types of beetles are attracted to a solution of water and dishwashing detergent, it eliminates them. My wife did this and got rid of the nasty little buggers.

I think they're called ladybird beetles. When I'm raking leaves I soon find them on my clothes, my neck, my hair and gosh those things bite! I tried insect repellant and it helped.
