My Baxi Combi bopiler is not working - the fan is not going round. How do I know if it is the fan thats faulty or something else like the air pressure switch?

I'm afraid that this is one for the CORGI registered fitter. It depends on the model of Baxi The fan is controlled by the PCB along with flow switches temp, sensors etc. The air switch is solely there to detect the fan has started and that the next step in the ignition process can continue. Fitting a new PCB can be both expensive as returns are not accepted if it is not wanted and if it were the fan that was faulty one could blow the new PCB. Apart from that as the law stands to work on gas appliances one has to be registered.

Call out Baxi my friend - they can come out with a van full of spares and the engineer will know what he's doing. They work over the weekends at no extra cost to the customer. xx
