For example, you move into this house that has been vacant for over 2 months. Will any germs/fungi/viruses that were there be dead in this lenghth of time?

I mean, I am definitely scrubbing the place from top to bottom. I was just wondering if all of those things would be dead in that length of time!

After searching around in places like Home Depot and Loews, I could only find shower heads that used 2.5 gallons per minute, and all of these resulted ina very mild pressure shower. Without redoing the whole shower plumbing system, is there a way to tweak a shower head, or buy a shower head, that will deliver more water faster? The only thing I've tried so far is to plug up some of the holes, resulting in very slightly higher pressure from the other holes.

I have a blue painted room, little darker than Sky blue. (btw navy blue and sky blue i should say, more towards skyblue than navy blue). I have a very nice sheet set thats totally white. I am wondering what color comforter set I should go with? Originally I thought I should buy Navy blue to contrast nicely with White sheet set, but I am afraid that it might not have that good contrast with room. But I might be wrong...
Also my bed frame is lighter shade brown (light Oakwood).
Any suggestion ideas? thanks

The bedroom has dark gray carpet, mirrored closet doors with a white trim. A door which open into this room is a light green with white trim. I was thinking of a light blue ceiling (harbor haze) with beige walls and white trim.

Ideally it would have it's own room, just off the living room and the shower room would back on to it so you can watch Mr Pingu swim while you wash.

A few months ago, I picked up a computer chair. It was for free, the material and everything are in perfect condition, accept that the legs at the bottom were broken. Out of 5, 2 had snapped. I'm not sure how someone managed to do that, but they are.
From Home-Depot, I bought a 2-part epoxy (The max strength i could get) to try to see if i could glue them together, it was meant to glue patio furniture. It didn't worked.. They broke even with a little weight, and i followed the instrutions perfectly.
Both breaks are half way between the wheel and the stem of the chair.
Does anyone had any ideas where I could find either a replacement or try to mend them back together. The rest of the chair is in TOP shape, so I'd hate to just junk it.
Any idea.. Please share.

This is not the chair, but very very similar..

We really need to sell our house. We are having our first open house, after it being on the market for 3 months and I need to know what kinds of things will help it sell, be irresistable?

Here are some details.

3BR/2Bath/2car garage.
3 years old (Vinyl siding/side entry garage/corner lot/really nice)
Everything works and is clean.
It will be cold that day.

We just moved into our home, and it is not brand new, so we know this heater has worked in the past. Do electric heaters have pilot lights? I can hear some activity when the water is running upstairs, but no heating occurs.

I have a house. I have a lot of books and need an extra room / library. My back yard is big. My office room has a window to the back yard.

Is it possible to put a door there and extend the house with an extra room?

How much would a room cost, as big as a 2 or 3 car garage?

What kind of company should I search in the yellow pages?

I bought my home (condo) seven years ago and it is now about twenty years old, which is fairly new. And i had to replace a six foot piece of corroded gas line because of dripping water from a hot water line that was never properly secured. they charge me $950.00 to replace the gas line and still have to replace the water lines that have corroded. is the condo development at fault since the water pipes were never properly sealed? all these pipes were inside the ceiling so any inspection that i did would not have revealed this problem. i live in brick town new jersey. any advise welcomed.
