I know after Christmas they get marked down a lot so I'm going to wait until then to buy a lot more but I would like to atleast buy bulbs, lights, and ribbon for my tree before Christmas but don't want to spend a whole lot since I want to save my money for buying gifts.

Hi,

I found an 1837 Half Dollar that was buried. At first, I thought it was a large cent because of the color, but after years of being in the ground, this coin has a thick residue of dirt, etc. on it.

I am usually against cleaning coins, but in this case, I am looking to remove the dirt buildup, etc. Anyone know how to do this without harming the coin? I know scrubbing it in any way will damage it further.

Thanks a bunch

The plant used to have these nice green leaves, but lately the leaves have been turning into a light green shade, what does this mean?

We have tried making noises to disrupt his sleep and we have tried setting up a strobe light to disturb his vision as we were told their eyes are sensitive to light. The attic he is in has only a 6 X 9 inch opening, making it impossible for us to get in there to trap him.

When need to repaint my daugther's room, but first I need to remove the flowered wall stickers we put up. These are the ones you find in craft stores and places like Lowes or Walmart and are made specifically to go on the wall with a bit of warm water. I am wondering if there is any simpler way to get them off other then to just scrape and peel.

My ceiling/tiles have been leaking since Oct. of 2005. It only started with one tile but became worse over the year. It literally rains inside my apt. when it rains out and has affected 11 tiles now. I made the mistake of only putting a request in writing for repair once but have documented every conversation, days they came in to look at it, days when it was supposedly fixed, and a few weeks ago when a professional finally came in. (The pro did say to call if the problem wasn't fixed.) My landlord told me several times that if worse came to worse they would put a tarp over the roof. I have requested this repeatedly and this much I have in writing. I paid my November rent and the landlord(s) said that they don't want to deal with the "leaks" problem anymore and that they just wanted to use the apt for storage. IMPORTANT: They have not been claiming this apt. on their taxes (it's connected to their house) for the last 13 yrs and I believe they are afraid to get caught. Mold too

Insurance inspector said they should have tilted tubs slightly when they built the house two years ago. Thinking about putting in shower doors but not sure this will help.

I saw this light that I like but it is supposed to have a hard wired installation and I don't have wiring in my walls to install it. Is there any way I can attach a plug to it so that I can just plug it in to an outlet?
Thank You

There is a person a couple street and they cut some big limbs off a maple tree. He left the logs in his front yard. I was wondering how would I ask him if I can have the wood? What if he says no or he wants money? I dont know why Im asking this.

How can you safely clean the insides of a pop-up toaster? I usually just shake the crumbs into the trash. But this time, when I opened the bottom of it there were spider webs & dog hair in it~Nasty!! Would it be ok to run hot water through the unplugged toaster and let it dry thouroghly before using it again or would that damage it?
