Either not enough light or too much or too little water. What kind of plant is it? Some indoor plants will change leaf colour depending upon the season.

Once an indoor plant is happy in a particular place, dont mave it, apart from turning it around regularly to encourage growth and prvent it from leaning towards the light.

Weather can effect the plant. Dont leavt houseplants on windowsills on winter nights unless u have blinds or dont draw your curtains, as curtains will trap cold air around the plants and thus kill them.

plants cannot stand over-watering or under-watering.

Buy, a houseplant feed, to help the leaves turn healthier again.
good luck!

I agree with location, water requirements, and sunlight, but also wonder if you have looked for signs of insects. If plant also drops its leaves, look at the underside of leaves and other places of plants to see if you may have the beginnings of a insect problem. Good luck.

go buy some Schultz indoor fertilizer at Walmart or anywhere...add 7 drops to a quart of water every time you water and bingo...success on everything in the house....I think it is 10-15-10 with micronutrients...(sometimes they come in such bad soil, it is not a bad idea to get some good Miracle grow potting soil or something else)

Over watering

You may be over watering it, or it needs some more direct light. Take it outside and give it a hosing down. Not in the sun tho.
