Have you tried oxiclean in your washer with your pants it may tale it out..How about alcohol. Dab alcohol on the spot and dab it up. Being a highlighter pen you may have some trouble with removing the stain. Good Luck~ Try goo begone...

If you have already washed and dried the pants, then the stain is already set and you won't get it out. How about soaking the pants in Clorox ll ? It's a safe non clorine bleach and you can use it on colors.

you're just going to have to live with it or mark in the rest of the pants (he he he) just kidding!

really shapies are permanent markers so nothing will remove it, in time it will fade but always be there. you could dye the pants black? that is the only solution in this case. sorry.

if they are cotton you can use acetone...Fingernail polish remover with acetone in it....It may take a few treatments...Pour some on and blot with a wet cloth and reapply the acetone, keep this up until all the ink is gone...

Try putting Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo on it and rub it in really good - it might take awhile but I've had luck with it.
