you could pay some one else to clean it for you, like a younger brother or sister... if you have one.

Have some coffee and just start cleaning. Sort the stuff you don't into 2 piles.....a 'maybe' pile and a 'never' pile. The stuff you can't part with goes into another room. Slowly go through both piles and sort them again. This will narrow down the 'maybe' pile.

Remember to vacuum floor while the room is cleared out. Takes some time, but it's worth it in the end.

Good luck and don't give up.

start by making a list of everything that needs to be done, then number tasks by most important to least important. do tasks in numeric order until it gets clean .give yourself a small reward for doing each task after doing it and before doing the next. you'll be amazed how fast it goes with a plan.

You could do to yourself what I used to do to my teenage daughter. Go into the room, with a sweeper, dust clothes, furniture polish, a laundry basket for dirty clothes and a large trash bag, don't come out until it's clean

Get yourself a garbage bag, throw anything you don't truly want or need into it. That's a start. Do a little at a time. You'll feel better afterwards.
