When need to repaint my daugther's room, but first I need to remove the flowered wall stickers we put up. These are the ones you find in craft stores and places like Lowes or Walmart and are made specifically to go on the wall with a bit of warm water. I am wondering if there is any simpler way to get them off other then to just scrape and peel.

Thats easy get you some woolite, mix with water in a spray bottle, just score the paper a little so the liquid will get underneath, wait a few minutes and it will peel off. I know this works for I helped remodel a complete motel, it was the easiest paper work I ever did.

try getting the plastic topping off of the stickers and then use peanutbutter... the only problem is that it will leave peanut oil stains on the wall that you have to prime over in order to not have it bleed into the new wall paint... but its the cheapest way I can think of to do that also try taking a razor and put little holes in the sticker to help the oil absorb into it... good luck with the stickers

Try a hairdryer, the hairdryer will heat up the sticker. This should make it easy to remove. Hope this helps!

i know that WD40 works wonders on removing the glue from stickers off most household surfaces, depending on the surface you may have to use some elbow grease.

If the adhesive was activated by water, it should deactivate the same way. Use a "Paper Tiger" to pierce the surface, and a product called "Dif" (all available from any hardware store) to break down the paste just like wallpaper. On a personal note you need to think your redecorating ideas through a little better.
