I heard you can use vaseline where you have carved out your picture on a pumpkin to keep it from drying out. Is it still safe to light a candle in the pumpkin with vaseline on there?

Ok, I did something stupid. When we started painting the outside of our house about a month ago, I taped off the around my windows, (I taped on the glass). Now the tape has become part of the window!! If I scrape and scrape and scrape with a razor blade, it comes off but in really small pieces. Anybody know of an easier way to get it off?

I had to replace my Refrigerator Evaporator Fan (GE part WR60X10074) but it turned out that the problem was the system board (I hope). Anyway, my question is, how does the motor fan work. I see it is DC 9.7V and 3.25W. There are four wires that go to it, so would it be correct to presume there is some kind of relay that turns it on and of inside the motor houseing? The wires are white Blue Yellow and Red. I checked the harness and the Red has a positive voltage of 12-13v. Does anyone know the specifics of how this motor should work? What wires to connect to what? I would like to use the old motor for a followup project.

We had a sprinkler leak and several plants with fat green fronds and black pods for roots sprouted up all around the leak. (Phoenix) Any idea what kind of plant it could be?

A lot of assumptions are made in life. Who really knows for sure.

And no you can't use a video camera stationed in the fridge because that's like opening the fridge itself (haha, the fridge said so).

My bathtub drain is clogged and I was wondering if anyone knows any home remedies for unclogging it. I need to use the shower before I leave so I wanted to find something at home I could do. A plunger won't work because I have one of those drains with a plug that you pull up and down and a plunger just pushes it down. So if anyone as any ideas let me know. I do have another shower I can take I just wanted to use that as a last resort.

My daughter's tub drain is slow to drain. I know how to plunge a toilet, and to undo the J-bend under a sink to get those things flowing again, but how to I get the gunk out of a tub drain. There's no access to the pipe and I can't poke any pliers through the top.

I have bought a lovely 3 piece suite in leather, dead comfy electric recliners , the lot, BUT I bought it while still renovating my house and now I have moved in (I have cardboard carpets at the mo!) I cant find a color of carpet that will go with it. I have had laminate floors laid upstairs and tiles in hall and kitchen but one of my dogs has arthritis and even though I know the best option would be more laminate she is having a few problems coping with the tiled kitchen when getting up. She is only 7 so has loadsa time left with me and I love her to bits and dont want her to fall in the living room. The colour of suite is TAN, the only way I can describe the colour is to compare it to a leather school satchel-the kind that you carried on your back (thats showing my age!) I will be grateful for any SERIOUS suggestions as Im getting a bit fed up traipsing around carpet shops-seeing one that I think will match only to find that the sample doesnt look right when I get home! HELP
