Ive tried bleach, oxyclean, about every bathroom cleaner. It is relatively new Linoleum -- can't believe the stain has permeated below the surface

ive tried every cleaner, bleach, oxyclean. It is right next to the head, which makes it look like an errant pee-er. There has never been a rug in this area. The Linoleum is only 4 yrs old.

sounds like the floor is wearing out- the stains are most likely wear spots and you can't clean that - it's from the underneath

As you probably know never use a human shampoo or any flea medicated bath on rats. Human shampoos are too harsh and flea shampoos can be deadly. I've found it next to impossible to get rid of urine staining on fur, but if you can resolve the bedding problem then the staining will gradually disappear as new hair grows in. What are you using for the beds? I find that fleece works best for wicking the urine away. The fleece should be washed at least three times before use. Always wash without fabric softener and do not use a dryer sheet, this will allow the fleece to work better. The pre-made canvas hammocks were a disaster for me, it just resulted in urine soaked rats. Same thing for other types of fabric. Honestly, I've given up on ever having completely clean male rats. My boys have all tended to urine mark and end up with some on their bellies and/or tails. I have heard that early neutering can help reduce urine marking but have not yet tried this. My Morpheus was just neutered a few days ago (for behavioural reasons) and I'm hoping I'll see a decrease in marking as well.

LOL, funny. It's not urine. It's probably from someone using one of those cheap bathroom rugs with the vinyl back and then it got moisture underneath it. Anyway, I think that white vinegar might work.

I would call a cleaning company (one of those that cleans apartments) talk to them real nice and see if they would tell me what to do. The good ones will know how to fix it if it's not too bad but the lazy ones will tell you that there is nothing you can do.

How to Remove Yellowing Spots From:
Linoleum, Vinyl Tile

Wipe the stain with a cloth or sponge dipped in warm sudsy water to which a few drops of ammonia have been added. Rinse with a cloth moistened with clear water and wipe dry.

Could be wax build up and you may need a wax remover.
Though I would not doubt the answerer above. I would try stripping the wax off first.

Try lemon juice and baking soda. It works great on spaghetti sauce on Tupperware!
