I'm a student and live in a shared house that has no tumble dryer and no outside space. I'm finding it difficult to dry my clothes as the heating in our house is crap, short of buying an expensive tumble dryer (which we have no room for anyway) what can i use to get my clothes dry quickly?

My mom's pen broke or something on her lab coat- type suit she uses for her work as a doctor. Is there anything she can use to get the stain off? it was a blue pen and my dad's trying rubbing alcohol, but the stain turned purple and a lighter shade smeared around it.

I have been living in my house for 21 years but slugs and snails have suddenly appeared all over the place. It is very damp but it has always been damp because it seems to rain all the time in Manchester UK. I am just wondering why they have suddenly appeared? A couple of years ago the neighbours planted a plant that grows over the fence and think they might be attracted and coming from there??? Is the best way to get rid of them salt? I have been using salt but it works for a short period of time, but then loads appear again.

My husband wants to build a tree house for our daughter. Know of any good sites for free plans and or pictures? Also, can this type of thing be built without nailing/screwing into the tree itself? We really don't want to kill the tree....

Why does my toilet keep getting clogged after each use?

My toilet gets clogged every time I use it. I am able to plunge it so it will work but this is getting old. I don't think the main line is the problem. It was cleaned within the last couple of years and the toilet bowl is a couple of years old. I tried and auger once and it seamed to fix it for a couple of days then it was back to the old problems again.
