We just moved into a new home and I have never had siding. I am wanting to hang up my holiday decor and wind chimes but not real sure what to use.

vinyl siding doesn't hold a lot of weight.....if your going to hang it must be attached to the vinyl siding only!!!.... do not put the nail thru to the sub wall---cause the vinyl siding wont be able to move!!! this will wreck your siding......the sticky hook thing is a great idea. clean the siding real good first.

if your item is heavy and you must
attach to the sub wall the holes in the vinyl siding must be over sized---to allow for the siding to move. if they are not big enough buckling will occur...if this happens make them bigger
