I have a 50 year old brick home and I am replacing the gutters. I do not know whether to go with seamless gutters, aluminum gutters, or whatever other kind of gutters there are. I do not know a lot about gutters, but I want them to be easy to clean, long-lasting and I want them not to rust or discolor. I want white gutters to match the rest of the house. I am more concerned with quality than I am with cost, so I am looking at getting a professional company to install them - with a WARRANTY! Any reasonable suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have to buy a new frige and stove for my new house. There is already a stainless steel dishwasher in there. So I am getting a stainless frige and stove. The appliances will all be lined up along the same wall. Should I try to get the frige and stove of the same brand or is it only the color that matters?

Had to replace the seed feeder as old one broke. Always feed birds in autumn and winter, same place. Now new feeder is up, birds avoid it like the plague. Do I just leave it and maybe they will get used to it? Or take it down and just leave the other one which has been there for years.

Does anyone know of a good gardening web site where I can find a list of what kind of plants and vegtables to plant and when to plant them ? I have for some unknown reason been bitten by the "bug" and am chomping at the bit to give it a try... I used to really enjoy working in my familys flower and vegtable garden when I was a child.

I would like to have some kind of plants or flowers to grow most of the year...as far as the vegtable garden I was thinking along the lines of the more basic items...corn, tomatoes, squash, beans, melons..things like that, but things i could grown and tend to throughout the year.

I know that this may seem like a big question, but I really think I can do this...grow things I mean.

Any advice ya'll could give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Michael

We sold our flat and are due to exchange contracts soon. In the meantime the flat roof has leaked and cracks appeared due to subsidence. Is it the responsibility of buyer to have their surveyor find these problems or is it reasponsibility of seller (me to fix up before completion?
