Had to replace the seed feeder as old one broke. Always feed birds in autumn and winter, same place. Now new feeder is up, birds avoid it like the plague. Do I just leave it and maybe they will get used to it? Or take it down and just leave the other one which has been there for years.

Is this feeder a more decorative one than the one it replaced? Some birds need to see the seed in the feeder. They will get used to it sooner or later.

They have to get use to it. Don't worry, they'll soon be gobbling down the treats you put out for them. Birds are always cautious, and why shouldn't they be, they're very small and easy prey for just about anything.

Let them get used to the new one.......it could take two or three weeks though.

In the mean time, you could learn to write properly and stop skipping words or abbreviating. It's most annoying trying to read in this way. How much longer would it take?

If the new one is painted and the old one isn't, they will avoid it due to fumes.
