Can I use 5W30 oil in my older snowblower, or do I need to stick to straight 30w.?

Want to be able to start engine in cold weather but don't want to wreck it.

5w-30 is a 30 weight at operating temp........ you WILL!!! hurt the engine using straight 30 in the winter......
use it and don't worry a bit!

I suggest 30w.
