Roger, I think it is fireweed. Here is a photo link. Find the list of pink flowers on the left side of the screen and click on fireweed:

Not sure ... it has very distinctive characteristics: 4 free, clawed petals and 4-branched style. It is definitely NOT Ladys Slipper, Bee Balm or Epilobium ... none of them have that character combination.

It must be some type of wildflower. It's very pretty but I don't know the name. Sorry.

These look like Fireweed (epilobium augustifolium); they tend to grow in areas that have been disturbed (such as along highways) or recently burned sites.
