7800? I think this is, Boulder, Colorado 80309.
That would be USDA Zone Map 5, and subzone A.
USDA Zones 1 through 6, your wildflowers can be planted in late fall. If you decide to plant your seeds in the fall in Zones 1 through 6, the seed will remain dormant during the harsh winter months and germination will begin at the first indication of spring.

Plant away... Mulch and wait.. If you want to seed then you may want to think about waiting till spring... up in winter park we would seed in spring as we rode the zephyr acouple of weeks before the end of the season... the choise is really upto you. you can always plant your bulbs now mulch then in spring cast seeds or you can cast some now and recast them in the spring... it should all work.

Contact the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail; they have tons of good information on what will grow at your elevation and hardiness zone. It's also a great spot to visit - enjoy!
