the lawn and flowers with its dead foliage.
is there any use i can put to the dead foliage?
there must be something that would thrive under such a great tree

coralbells, lithrum, dragonsblood, japanese ferns, any variety of hasta. All are shade plants and the acidic soil from the evergreen won't bother them.

cut the branches up high enough to walk under so that sunlight will reach the ground and keep the dead needle's picked up then test the soil for ph and adjust it with lime check with local lawn & garden center. for the test. I have no problem with grass but I keep the needels picked up

it s needles will kill everything
although the needles composted makes a great suplement for everything
