We have a well and septic system. I believe it is a single drop jet pump. The pump is located outdoors, on top of the well. At any rate, there is a pressure tank. Over the past several days, when we turn on the a faucet (toilet, shower, etc), we get blasts of air thru the lines with the water. Someone told me my pressure tank is leaking? Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

I have a question. I live in an apartment complex that is based on income. I just received a note that my rent is going up to maximum and several members of my family who are also in the income based apartments the next town over says I'm making less money than they are and still I'm paying the full amount.

They say that I shouldn't be paying near as much as they say I will be starting to pay this month.

Does anyone know the calculations that it is based upon? I get about 30 hours a week at work and I make 9.30 an hour.
I get paid bi-weekly.

I think that is all the info that you would need to calculate income.

These shoes have pointy toes, and the leather at the point has worn down so that there is almost a hole at the tip. Can this be fixed? I really love these shoes.

I have a garage that has drywall, but no insulation and I want to convert it? How durable and expensive is it? Anybody have any tales to tell?

Is it better than ripping the walls down and redoing it all?

My roomate and I bought dimmer switches for our bedrooms. However, when we installed them, his room gets electricity in half his room, and I get none what so ever. We tried so many different ways to install the dimmer, and even exchanged them. Nothing works. There are only three wires, 2 black, and one green wire (ground.) We then re-installed our old switches, and our electricity is back to normal. Please help! My AIM SN is PeteS112 if you need to message me. Thanks.

There is a house down the street from me that I absolutely love and I want my house to be just like it. It has EVERYTHING that I want in a home. Do you think it would be disrespectful to go to the house and ask the owner questions about their home? I want to get the dimensions and all that stuff. I am really tempted but I don't want to them to think that I am crazy or staking their house out or something! What do you think?

I recently purchased a house with a septic sytem. In the crawl space I found a air pump with a hose going into the ground. The air pump was plugged into a plug with the label aerator. The air pump has seized and no longer works. I wonder if it is worth replacing. The septic tank does seem to have an odor problem. I was wondering if certain septic systems requuire aeration. Other people I know with septic systems do not have aerators. Does anyone know about this.
