I have been told I need five different drawings from foundation to roof
this is in Austin Texas. It's actually a 18'x8' addition to the existing carport that is under the existing roof.

every state is different , but being that i have done this hundreds of times w/ husband there around 600 (something small which you have) no one does it for under that because its a waste of time to a architect you shouldn't even need drawings (then again diff. state), just a permit , 5 drawings NO,, foundation, framing, roof line is all they should do different state thou, pipe, gas and elec. lines under ground is a different catagory

nice addition $$$$$$

I do drawings for add-ons and such. With all the drawings and details required I normally charge $1000.
