Go to Home Depot, and buy a 8oz. bottle of grout cleaner / remover and mix it with water. Get a big grout shaping sponge, and keep sponging and rinsing. that is the only way. Do it twice, and then go over it with a dry clean shaping sponge. It will come off. Usually the hazing comes from not rinsing the sponge good during the initial cleaning.

After installing thousands of sq. ft. of tile, I know this much.

The clean up process begins immediately. Using the proper sponges, and less wet with each sponging, you remove what might eventually be worse an issue than the "dust"

Also,,, allowing the grout to cure, allows that cleanup will be effective in an end result. Cleanup at a pace that still shows streaking, etc. means you've either worked at it too soon after the application, and in some impatience keep trying... or possibly, the grout wasn't mixed to a proper consistency initially.

Sanded or unsanded grout? Humidity or moisture continuing to exist? If done properly a normal cleanup,,,maybe in 3 stages will resolve the issue, but proper application is also a critical step.

A poly infused grout cleans up and drys better than a non, but all of them get to a "concrete" stage in ideal conditions. The bonding agents have a tolerance level,,,IE: to remix a grout that has set awhile, or is too dilluted in it's application, will "powder" and likely DUST UP, then degrade.

if a non-scratching scouring pad won't take it off, you can get it off with a window scraper (razor blade)...it's a little time consuming, but after you get the hang of it, it comes off pretty easy...I had the same problem when I put new tile in my bathroom...the window scraper was the only thing that worked for me. I also tried all the cleaning stuff they SAY is supposed to get it off. Good Luck.

you have dried cementious material residue left on your tiles. you are going to have to scrape it off, or rather the one that didn't wash it off before it dried, is going to have to scrape it off.
