Im from New Jersey so I don't have to pump my own gas at the gas station but I do know how to if I have to. How many of you definately know how to do it?

I have tried several store bought "cleaners/polishers", but none seem to give my floors the shine that I want. I want a bright glossy shine rather than dull looking floors. Thanks.

I have a maytag portable rolling dishwasher that you are supposed to hook up to the kitchen sink. I bought it used so there are no instructions. I have the piece that screws into the faucet head securely in place and there is an extra rubber seal that I'm not sure where it goes. On the dishwasher I have one of the white quick disconnect hoses that is supposed to snap over the screwed on piece. But, I guess I'm not doing it right because its leaking. Is there anyway someone can describe to me how its supposed to look? Or where that extra seal is supposed to go?

I'm looking to build a smaller colonial house in Maine. But I have no idea where to start. I do have the land (2.5 acres) on paved road and in the country 20 min from town.
Any ideas? I need everything from permits to how to install the HVAC. Thanx

The builder will be giving me some allowances for different things like lighting, carpet, plumbing fixtures, etc.

What dollar amounts should I be looking for (I don't want to get screwed). I would consider this a medium trimmed house. THANKS!

An armadillo has not only dug small holes all over my yard, it has dug a trench approximately 8 inches in diameter and ??? inches long. It is at least 20 inches long based on a two by six board that I shoved up in it.

I have metal awnings covering my all my windows, front and back doors, I would like to paint them a brighter color. I'm kinda skeptical because my neighbor did his and it looks too tacky, almost like he used interior paint or something. Mine are in good shape they just have a funky old color. I need some curb appeal.

I made sure the surfaces were as dry as possible. One brand of caulking I used wouldn't even stick to wall, the second one I used seemed to work really well, then after about a month it starts to split and separate from the wall and or the tub, why does it do this?

does anybody else get annoyed walking on the sidewalk and having to avoid water sprinklers? Everytime I walked down the street this summer at least 3 houses on every block people had these huge water sprinklers on that went out into the sidewalk and sometimes into the street. I try to cross the street to avoid them but they also have water sprinklers and I have to cross the street again. I don't want to jaywalk because my city fines you and in some cases arrest you for that. I s there anyway people could use smaller water sprinklers that don't go into the sidewalk?

I have a small chilli plant that I keep in my greenhouse it has 3 small chillis on it they are about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long and have partly turned black. Is this normal? It sait on the ticket that they would go red. Have they still to ripen and will they ripen now?

My boyfriend will put a load of clothes in the washer then add liquid detergent and then turn the water on. Well, after doing this...just before putting the clothes in the dryer, there will be blue detergant spots left on the clothes and we can never get it out. I have since taught him the correct way to do laundry but i have 2 shirts i love and want to get the spots out so i can wear my favs again...any idea's or ways to help fix this?
