Vellum paper is 100% cotton. It is used in some printers for graphs and such. It is also used in sewing to transfer patterns. You can write on it and it doesn't bleed through. So if you have a pattern you want to use repeatedly, transfer it to vellum paper.

I have a small apartment that was converted from a garage. It's very drafty around the doors and windows. I'm no handman (woman) so I'd like to know some easy and relatively inexpensive ways I can make my apartment less of an energy hog this winter.

I was in Sears the other day and I brought my vaccum in to get serviced. The counterperson asked me if I wanted to pay money for an extended warranty for my washer and dryer and I said no. I bought the washer and dryer at Sears.
A few weeks later my dryer is not working very well. I need to get it fixed.
If I get the extended warranty, and then call Sears a few weeks later and tell them that my dryer is broken, I assume a red flag will come up. Sears will be suspcious and probably question me on that.
I am sure someone has been in the situation before. Any help would be great.
