I'm asking this question for my mom. She has a "hornet" problem. They are slightly smaller than a regular honey bee and they have several nests throughout my yard in the ground. Each nest has been dug up by something wild but the bees are still there and the nests are about a foot and half across. I was told to try pouring gasoline in the nest and cover it up with a rock. I did this but it didn't work. I know farmers are good at these things so please let me know.

I am looking for a really good all-natural air freshener/deodorizer that last a long time but is not full of harmful chemicals. I love for my house to smell good but my kids have allergies and can't tolerate most of the air fresheners on the market. Any suggestions?

I keep finding slugs on my kitchen floor and drawers, and I have no clue where they are coming from. I don't see any holes anywhere, and they're always in the middle of the drawer when I see them, so I can't see where they're crawling from. What in the world is going on?

I have already removed the hydraulic filter and drained it overnight and pulled the plug under the hydraulic pump and drained that. I then ran the engine and I thought all the hrdraulic fluid poured out but after re-filling the system I obviously had lots more water still in it. Any ideas besides pulling all the hydraulic lines etc. Thanks for any answers

I want to not go through the expense and mess of tearing out the old plaster. Some of the plaster has backer board and some has the lattice backing.

I am buying a home and would like to renovate the large bathroom to include a wall mounted urinal for several reasons. First because my house seems to be the congregating are for the family we have high traffic. Secondly because I want to save money on water. And thirdly because set at the right height I'm hoping will eliminate some of the mess that we have here (My husband doesn't put on his glasses when he goes pee in the morning...Enough said.) due to the much shorter toilet. Also, it seems like we both always have to use the bathroom at the same time and it wouldn't look cool for us to have two toilets in one bathroom and I don't feel like adding another. My Dad is a plumber and would do the installation for free...

So the question is...

Does a urinal save money in the long run on water? How hard are they to clean? Some people say the stink...Is this true?

Also, any other information would be useful too...

I am building new horse stalls in width and length of 12 ft. (12x12). How high should the walls be? For the front (where it is only wood half way up) how high should the cut off be, where I will be putting the part they can see out? Also, I am building these from scratch. So I am using 2x12 . Where can I get the metal from to case in the wood edges and put up those bars? THanks!
